Joba Chamberlain just got sent to the disabled list. despite all the joba rules and all the precautions, granted the unorthodox shift from bullpen to rotation, Joba still suffered an injury to his right shoulder (same as posada). That makes everyone. Chien Ming Wang, Phil Hughes, Ian Kennedy, Darrel Rasner, Jeff Karstens (before getting traded to the pirates) and now Joba. These is the future, probably at least 2 future cy young winners, and definitely quite a number of 15-20 game winners. Now only Rasner is in the rotation, and only because of lack of options.

BTW, Pudge got into a bad collision and was taken out of the game before his at bat in the 3rd. listed as day to day.

BUT, they won. after 2 losses, they finally pulled one out, behind a pitcher which just a few months ago was released due to off field incidents, and was also released by the yankees a few years back simply for being ineffective. Of course this goes without saying that there's alot of games to be won if the yankees want to play in october this year, but clearly, they are by no means out of the running.

A few weeks ago, I thought I was ok. Not great, but at least ok. it's hard to tell where i am now or how i feel, just that i know i'm far from great, nowhere near my A game. not that it matters, just suck it in, work with what you have, and make the best of it. hey, i just found the 100 pesos i thought i lost yesterday, and I'm due to receive my card next week. focus, and let things take care of themselves.
