a fine line...
just watching an old episode of house were the patient has a tumor as a result of taking fertility meds and and anti-pregnancy pills at the same time. you have to give it to her, she gave up half her liver to keep her guy happy (or cover up her lie, depending on how you look at things).
Crazy is relative. in a more general romantic context, it's even almost impossible to define sometimes whether a person is crazy, or just in love.. so what is the boundary? when the action of the one giving is reciprocated or appreciated?
Also in the same episode, House sleeps with stacy (while Mark, new husband, is in rehab). There's even a scene where Mark begs house for advice, as he felt that he was losing stacy and house is the only person who;s been through that. House eventually gets guilty or something, and tells stacy not to leave Mark.
hmm. so it's not really about giving or taking. is it? or giving everything, as much as I believe in the human spirit and it's capability to overturn what may seem impossible, in cases like these, well...
haaay, senti shit. ok, off to work now...
