Criminal Minds 1.16 the tribe
"you can take many paths to get to the same place"
I was just thinking about this this afternoon as a once again refused to study, went to choir practice which few people attended, and had a not quite relaxing but very unproductive afternoon.
3rd generation, walking a path worn down by many great and not so great men and women that have come before me, I find it quite taxing to say the least. I can think of only a few other courses that are more demanding, then again demandng is relative to desire, but barring any deep seated philosophical mumbo-jumbo, I have to work my ass off to survive. But whatever it is, I'm doing this my way. I'm not one to cram myself up in the library every freakin day, even on off days, to catch up on my reading unless I feel like it. Of course when the shit hits the fan, everyone's off in their little quite places cramming all the enumerations off those thick ass hard bound books. But to do this on a daily basis, hell no! I'll play my heart out or sing (every sunday, wih the "orchestra" in UP, 11am or through my other outlets), watch shows or movies,
or do what else i do. If my dad knew half the things i did, he'd probably disapprove, but that's him. I'm probably not going to be anywhere near the top of my class, but that's all right with me. I'm not here to top, it would be great if it came, but I'm not about to kill myself over some little number on a piece of paper.
