NCIS 03.15 "Head Case"
This case is surreal to say the least.
In busting up a petty chop shop group, the NCIS agents find a frozen human head in the trunk of one of the stolen cars. This leads to an investigation, and long story short, it turns out that a group was selling frozen body parts that were supposed to be cremated. At first thought, and in a few after thoughts, this is very creepy. However, excluding the profitability of such and endeavor, not and assuming that the players behind such a scheme were altruistic, it actually makes sense in a macabre way to use these bodies for medical research instead of burning them down to ashes.
