living like every day's the last

Towards the end of WW2, as the Japanese were boxed in and defeated, they decided, to hell with it, and went wild, pillaging and rampaging through everything they could find. On a legal note, this of course led to the cases of Kuroda and Yamashita, 2 very important cases not only in political law, but also in public international law. (pardon the monologue) In fact, this occurrence has led to a change in US military tactics to allow for some sliver of hope, ie a corridor of escape.

I guess it's the same what they say about how to survive on a deserted island.. more than anything the key is to have hope, having something to live for. Like that guy who was marooned on an island, made it through quite a long time without any food or water, and apparently what got him through was that he was going through a very bitter divorce, and that he'd be damned if he'd let his wife get anything.

ok, have a report, classes to find, a proposal, ameeting to set, an album to finish and then launch, and God knows what else.

*breathe. I know i can do this.
