Coming Home
written at Xavier School, While waiting for XSMC practice, started 5:57 pm.
The past 2 weeks have been.. hectic to say the least. last week, I was in Alabang almost everyday for work. As usual, I had my hectic weekend with crammed errands, and practices. Last weekend was even more hectic because it was octoberfest (Hipolito's celebration), my mom's birthday and C5's anniversary mass. To make matters even more complicated, my sister gave birth last friday, and stayed at FEU in fairview. My weekend was spent running around back and forth from the hospital and wherever i had to be. Needless to say rest was not something i got...
Then I get drafted to stay at the hospital with my sister. Don't get me wrong, I don't really mind.. but to get stuck there and having to choose between leaving a sister that can barely move because a lot of other people were busy.. it wasn't easy. moving on before other issues set in... I finally get home on tuesday. Not exactly since i found out my bed got volunteered for my sister. No questions or anything. I just found out I didn't have a bed at home. I chose to spent the night at my cousin's on the couch. I finally got my bed back on wednesday, after my sis left for work. not for ling though, work suddenly called and we ended up in Alabang again. Thursday was again hectic as I rushed from commitment to commitment, ending in our surprise for Cha. A few hours later (friday morning) we ended up back at Cha's for breakfast...
Now the crap.
It sucks when you have to let go of something you really love. Then again, for one, it's about time, for the other...
It's tempting to do a lot of public bashing here but i won't. All I can say is that if this is the type of "community" you want to have, well, you were elected. all i can say is, i have better things to do with my time. I committed to doing a few more things, and if anyone asks for my help, I'd do my best to help. I will miss a lot of people, but kung ayaw, hindi na ko mamimilit. I have 2 other groups that are way better. I only wish you told me earlier so I wouldn't have wasted my time dragging my ass to practice.
As for the other thing... suffice it to say I already made a decision. All for the best for everyone, I hope.
edit: something I just have to add.. after the really long and stressful days, i come home to a house with unfinished renovations, consequently leaving me out of my sanctuary as i has been appropriated to my sister. Why this is so without any consultation from me is still beyond me, but it's not like there's anything i can do about it.
Oh well, at this point things can only get better.. at least by the time i get home on sunday, hopefully i'll have my room back. I can work on stuff i love to do, and with a little luck I might get everything together soon. :D
Here's to and end to the crap..

I'd like to quote what you said:
"It sucks when you have to let go of something you really love. "
