even if I take a bigger loss a this point, it's still not too late to back out from the race in Pocono.
yes, uncertainty creeps in.
I was right about the issue from the recent past, it's not an issue.
Statistics would definitely point to me pulling out of the race. too many blown gaskets in practically all previous situations. I could always argue though thtat the statistics are screwed up, or that they're measuring the wrong thing or whatever. Furthermore, one thing that is not taken to account in those statistics are developments made to the engine design over the season. But when it comes down to it though, I think this ould be the only circumstance where all the statistics don't really matter, and things just take their course.
again, I'm thinking too much. relax, dont'f force anything, let things happen.
